Growing up in Johnston, Rhode Island — the second leading town for Italian immigrants in the U.S. — Cathy spent Sundays in the kitchen with her mom, Cheryl, who always had a bubbling pot of Sunday “gravy” on the stove. After church, the whole family would gather around the table, sharing stories, laughter, and rich bowls of pasta smothered in homemade sauce. That cherished tradition lives on in every batch we make today.
